Hidralia delivers in Algarrobo and Manilva the Aqualogía awards for the Best Drawing and the Best Slogan on the responsible use of water

Third grade students who have been winners of each modality have received a check worth 100 euros to exchange it for school supplies

Hidralia has delivered this June 5, coinciding with World Environment Day, the awards of its Best Drawing and Best Slogan contest in Algarrobo and Manilva, where it serves. These competitions are part of the educational Aqualogía program, with which Hidralia tries to value the efficient use of this natural resource and raise awareness about the necessary care of the environment.

The two students that have been awarded in this edition in Algarrobo have been Daira Guerrero, of 3º B of the CEIP Enrique Ramos Ramos, who presented the best Drawing, and Alejandro Pastor, also of 3º B, but of the CEIP José Gil López, who has imposed in the category of best slogan. The minors have been awarded, among the 64 children who participated, for their originality and effort to know how to express respect for the environment and efficient water consumption in their jobs. Each of them has received as a prize a check of 100 euros exchangeable for school supplies.

In the municipality of Manilva, the winner in the category of Best Drawing and Slogan has been Antonio Gómez, 3rd of CEIP Pablo Picasso. His proposal, a representation of a dripping tap and a terrestrial globe with the legend "If we do not waste, the world we take care of", has been imposed among the 194 third grade students of the municipality who have participated. He has also received a check of 100 euros to exchange it for school supplies.

Aqualogía is the educational program that Hidralia takes to schools to show the process of the integral water cycle, from its capture until it reaches the houses and again how it is returned to the natural environment, reinforcing in a fun way saving, consumption and responsible use of the resource. The objective is to make schoolchildren aware of the importance of water and the environment and to know the natural and urban cycles of water, through interactive games.
