Hidralia presents in Estepona the Aqualogía prizes for the best drawing and best slogan on the responsible use of water
The students learnt how the complete water cycle is developed and how water is a resource that should be used properly. Two young people won a prize for their originality and ability to represent respect for the environment and efficient consumption of water in their works.
Two third-year primary students in Estepona won the competition ‘Responsible water consumption and the environment’, which is part of the Aqualogía education programme, through which Estepona Town Council and Hidralia try to encourage the efficient use of this natural resource and raise awareness of the required care for the environment. The winners were two students in their third year of primary school: Daniela Rodríguez Roca, a student from the Sierra Bermeja school, and Kevin Farcani Isvan, a student from the CEIP Simón Fernández school.
The two prize-winning works will be the slogan and image of the Aqualogía campaign for the next academic year in the town. The winners were given a certificate and a voucher that can be exchanged for educational, sports, audiovisual, or instrumental equipment for a value of €100. In total, over 700 students from 15 schools in the Málaga town participated in the activity.
