Hidralia and the City Council of La Carlota renew the agreement of the Social Fund created in 2015

More than 130 families have already benefited from this initiative. This year is allocated 8.000 euros

The mayor of La Carlota, Antonio Granados, and the manager of Hidralia, José Luis Trapero, have signed the annual extension of the Social Fund that the company has had since 2015, allocating 8,000 euros for this year, in order to help pay the bill of water and sewerage to families that are at risk of social exclusion.

The manager of Hidralia in La Carlota and the mayor of the town pose at the signing of the document for the renewal of the social funds.

In this way, the positive surplus of 2,000 euros last year has been incorporated - the initial annual amount is 6,000 euros - due to the decrease in applications.

Thus, since its implementation, more than 130 families have been beneficiaries of this line of aid from the company responsible for the integral water cycle in the municipality.

For this, the municipal social services are responsible for sending a list to Hidralia with the domestic subscribers who need this help, who must comply with economic requirements that indicate that they are insufficient to be able to afford the payment of these receipts. Interested persons can go to the Town Hall or the own offices of Hidralia to inquire about the granting of such aid.

In this sense, the City Council of La Carlota together with Hidralia wanted to respond to the needs of families that were affected by the economic crisis, especially in this vital service for people.

Therefore, in these four years of validity, this Social Fund has had more than 33,000 euros for families to cope with the bill for supplies of drinking water and sewage.
